Danielle L. Carreira Ching is a fifth-year doctoral candidate pursuing her PsyD in clinical psychology at Hawaiʻi Pacific University. She has worked with Hawaiʻi’s youth for over 20 years. Danielle received their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Hawaiʻi at West Oʻahu and completed postgraduate coursework and research at Goldsmiths, University of London. Danielle is currently an Implementation Research Assistant with The Baker Center for Children and Families working under the supervision of Dr. Kelsie H. Okamura on Mohala Na Pua, a community-driven substance use prevention adaptation of Hoʻouna Pono, for the Windward School District of Oʻahu.
